The National Institute of Culture and History (NICH) promotes and preserves Belize's cultural, historical, and artistic heritage. The National Health Insurance (NHI) works to ensure equitable access to quality, affordable healthcare for Belizeans, especially underserved populations. As a committed partner of the BMDA, NHI collaborates on initiatives to improve service delivery, enhance health outcomes, and support the continuing education and ethical practice of medical professionals.
The Pan-American Health Organization (PAHO) is the regional health agency of the Americas, supporting countries in improving public health systems and outcomes. In Belize, PAHO partners with the BMDA to provide technical support, health data, and training. Together, they work to strengthen national health responses, promote research, and support ongoing professional development in medicine and dentistry.
The University of Belize School of Medicine (UBSoM) educates future doctors through rigorous academics and clinical training.
